Transplant specialties
Adult blood and marrow transplant
Also sometimes referred to as a stem cell transplant, a bone marrow / blood and marrow transplant is a procedure that takes unhealthy, blood-forming marrow cells and replaces them with healthy ones. A bone marrow transplant may be performed using stem cells from the patient's body or from a donor. As part of the Sarah Cannon Blood Cancer Research Network, our providers are committed to bringing patients new and innovative treatment options. Learn more about adult blood and marrow transplant.

Pediatric blood and marrow transplant
While the general concept of pediatric and adult blood and marrow transplants may be the same—replacing unhealthy cells with healthy ones—the age of the patient brings more challenges. In addition to our compassionate physicians, our patient support services team provides comprehensive support for patients and their parents every step of the way. From diagnosis to recovery, our team includes surgeons, radiation oncologists, pediatric pharmacists, case managers, social workers, child life specialists and more. Our program includes both inpatient and outpatient clinics, allowing us to follow your child through their young adult years. Learn more about adult blood and marrow transplant.
