Pediatric Neurological Surgery
Rosemaria Gennuso, MD, completed her Bachelor of Science degree at City University of New York's School of Biomedicine in New York, New York. She completed her medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York. After a residency in neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York, Dr. Gennuso completed her fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery in Canada at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Gennuso returned to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City to become an assistant professor of neurosurgery and was also Director, Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. Dr. Gennuso then moved to the West Coast to perform neurosurgery at Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center and Dominican Santa Cruz Hospital in Santa Cruz, California. While there, she held an appointment at University of California, San Francisco as assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery. Dr. Gennuso is currently the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Pediatric Specialists of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Gennuso is board certified in neurological surgery and fellowship trained in pediatric neurosurgery.
