Compassion for her patients with liver cancer and passion for learning define Nurse Practitioner Yuni Corwin. "I enjoy nursing as a holistic process and because it encourages advanced education: I always want to learn a little bit more!" says Yuni, who takes pride in helping her critically-ill patients pull through difficult times. Yuni joins Texas Transplant Physician Group's Hepatology and Liver Transplant program from Brooke Army Medical Center's Gastroenterology/Hepatology Department where she participated in the Tumor Board where she originally met Dr. Preston Foster and Dr. Lokesh Bathla. Yuni has both a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from California State University in Sacramento, California. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner studies through University of Phoenix and obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Texas Christian University.
