About Alamo City Surgeons
It is with mixed emotions that we announce Megan Bowen, MD will be leaving Methodist Physicians | Alamo City Surgeons on June 30, 2022.
Rest assured that our staff of highly qualified surgeons stand ready to continue treating all of your needs. Both Gary Hall, MD and R Brandon Harrell, MD are available for any follow-up appointments or new care.
At Alamo City Surgeons, we provide general surgery services at two locations in the metro San Antonio area: in Live Oak next to Methodist Hospital | Northeast and in north San Antonio next to Methodist Hospital | Stone Oak. Our board certified surgeons perform surgeries and laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures to treat common abdominal conditions like appendicitis, hernia, inflammation of the gallbladder, ulcer and other digestive and stomach problems. They also specialize in breast cancer surgeries and thyroid/parathyroid surgeries.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service and care. Our physicians are board-certified general surgeons who are deeply committed to our patients and their families.
We understand the importance of dialogue throughout patient treatment and progress. We strive to maintain open communication with families, caregivers and all healthcare providers.
